As the reindeer arrived the plaza was bustling, the S.O.R. elves got started with their elf-like jobs... The Girls were on there tiptoes putting up garlands and lights in the craft tent, while the boys took on the tough job of setting up tables and chairs and filling up weight bags for the stage tent. When the boys were done they had the pleasure of being the first passengers of Santa's Christmas Train.
When 1:00pm came around, the crowds began to fill the plaza. Master Ron and Master Zach and their team of elves were the train safety crew. With elf smiles that coulda fooled anyone, they blew there train whistle... the crowds just couldn't help but smile along with them. And when they were waiting for the train to be loaded, some Christmas silliness took over for a little jingle bells air-drum session.
Master Molly and Master Grace headed up the S.O.R.E.C.N. team!!!! (Stands for: School of Respect Elf Craft Ninjas)........ The Girls were so great, making every child feel welcome they made hundreds of ornaments, hand puppets and even helped write some letters to Santa Claus, himself!
Finally at the end of the day the S.O.R. team was crowd control for the most important moment of the whole day, the Hillsboro Christmas tree lighting!!!
Here are some pics of the day and it's events... Enjoy!!!
